The Nail Challenge Collaborative Look 4

Y'all please don't kill me for posting this late in the night, but I totally forgot it's the last day of January and the final look is due. Even though the link up doesn't close for 6 more days it's open but I hate to go into a new month with a post due balance.

What I tried to do with these nails is make a wood grain look out of water marble. When I was growing up we had something like this on this walls in the basement my parents made into a mini apartment. I like doing this design aside from my regular pattern. Considering that I had major water and room temperature being a little chilly I think they came out decent looking.

I used OPI's Suzi loves Cowboys and A-Taupe the Space Needle.

Zoya Delight Collection 2015

Hi everyone TGIF!! With that being said I am so proud of myself for not procrastinating putting up swatches of these on my blog till next week. I do have quite a bit of things I want to schedule for next week so I'm glad I didn't sleep.

I know I posted the press release about these fun-filled Spring colored polishes a minute ago so here they are, now in my possession. In this collection there are 3 creme polishes and 3 crimmer (creme/shimmer) polishes. The formula was average and wasn't streaky or thick. It was pretty cloudy in my neck of the world and I would've like to have shown you the shimmer in natural light but I will when the sun comes out (Annie voice).

Hope you enjoy the swatches below of Zoya's Delight collection.....

Zoya Satin Collection 2015

*Press Sample*

Hi people, today I have to share with you all swatches of  Zoya's Satin finish polishes which I received yesterday in the mail. Me, I'm a girl who loves a matte finish and if you're like me then you NEED these in your collection. Some of the formula on a few of the polishes are a little thick when applied while others are just right. With the first coat, for me it dried quickly to a matte finish, it was very apparent. You need to let the second and third coat dry completely in order to gain that smooth satin finish.

Take a look at the colors Zoya has chosen for this collection....

Dupes my bad- OPI vs. Sinful Colors

Hey y'all, it's Monday (I know right, already)! So I've been meaning to post this. I just got the SC polish Flower Power and I knew it reminded me of another pink lacquer-glitter formula.

Sinful Colors "Flower Power" & OPI "The Power of Pink" (from the Breast Cancer Awareness duo of 2014) is the same formula.... This is 3 coats of both, no top coat. I actually find that the SC one applies thicker than OPI.

What do you think, dupe or nope?

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Look 3

Hey everyone..... My Sunday has been very lazy and nonchalant, so lazy this is why I'm just now uploading this post lol

This is my 3rd post for TNCC wallpaper nails for the month. For this design I just went with an abstract design (which equals to I have no idea what I made lol).

LA Colors Gel Like Extra Shine

HAPPY FRIDAY!! My coworkers tell me since I was off Monday then I don't have the right to say TGIF, but you know what I say back to them right LOL!!

Do any of you shop at Family Dollar (providing your location has one)? It's just like Dollar General and Dollar Tree, some of their prices beats Walmart. So my girls from the Facebook nail polish group I'm in posted a pic of this polish display and I just had to see if my nearest store has them (they did, why else would we be here lol). These have been announced to be gel like polishes without the use of UV light to dry. I bought 6 colors that really pops!!

The formula applies smoothly, no stinky chemical smell and they opaque in two coats, just perfect right!! These were swatched without a topcoat, these polishes remind me Sinful Colors Sinful Shine polishes.

Check out the colors I bought

This is a minty green creme Polish called Rocking It.

This coral creme formula is called Socialite

This fuchsia creme formula is called Stunner

This one is a pink crelly formula called Untamed

This fabulous purple creme formula one is called risqué

Lastly, this hot pink creme formula one is called Posh.

Now that you've seen them all, which ones do you favor?

Antique Gold Bettina Matte

Hey everyone, I cannot apologize enough for not posting all week, I was off Monday and it threw off all my plans (and memory). You all mean the world to me so don't think otherwise :).

Jumping right into the meat of my post, last week I stopped by my Bettina retailer who called me last week telling me she got in new polishes. Isabel who works for Bettina lets me know often of Bettina's latest polishes, I know that these polishes are available in Puerto Rico already.

This gold matte polish is called Antique Gold and the formula is amazing. It dries to a matte finish, once you're done with the first coat on the last nail you're ready for another.

Check it out and the other colors I picked up (swatches to show later).

The Nail Challenge Collaborative Look 2

Hey everyone, happy Saturday! What are you all up to? It's really nice outside today, the sun is out & I have the window by my nail table open enjoying a slightly cool breeze; that's Florida winter for you!

Today I am showing you my look #2 for TNCC themed wallpaper nails for this month. I do not know why I am stuck on hippie wallpaper but it's working for me so I'm running wit it!

Does these nails not remind you of a wallpaper design that hippies would have on their wall or what?

Kiara Sky The Egyptian Goddess

Omg y'all as I write this post I am overwhelmed with joy!! Why? I'll tell you why.... Someone loves me here at Nailmattic, as minuscule as it might seem since the year started the likes on my page has jumped tremendously! Before the new year I was stuck at 600, now I'm over 1300!! I am overwhelmed with the feeling of happiness that my page reaches my viewers! As a blogger these are the things that make slaving over writing and taking pictures to post worthwhile. I want to thank you all for the love because I love you all back!

I didn't know in what direction my blog was going this year because I felt like the attention was waning, but with over 500 blog subscribers on my wordpress blog I know that someone is interested in what I have to say!!

OAN, feast your eyes on this orange polish I picked up by Kiara Sky last weekend for $3 at my local nail supply. I have a few of her glitters so I wanted to try her Creme polishes, creamy indeed they are the cremsnick!!

This here is 3 coats and no topcoat, the formula is easy to apply and does not streak, dries shiny and within 5 minutes.

Pinking Out The Window

Good morning, happy day of the hump lol (I'm corny I know).

Today on my nails I am wearing a polish from China Glaze's newly released collection called Road Trip. I seriously think a lot of brands are running out of ideas, names and colors but hey I better shut up cause I still end up buying a few LOL!!

This is 3 coats without a top coat of "Pinking Out The Window".

*please cut me some slack about my cuticles I am trying to get them back to a healthy state. :)

This Black Sheep is a flake

Hello bloggerverse, how goes it? How did your weekend go, mine went.....quickly lol! Don't worry another one is on its way (that's what I tell myself to get through the day anyway).

So I am going to show y'all what I've had on my nails since Saturday (which doesn't happen often for me). As my base color I am using Julie G polish "Balck Sheep" and my gold flakies is OPI "The Man with the golden gun" topper. I chose to matte it cause I was in a rush and it worked out great for me.

I found that the brush didn't pick up the flakies in abundance as desired :/.

Do you own either one of these? If so, how do you like them?
