Bettina Grape

Hi ladies, I have a quick post of a mani I did that I haven't posted. I was at my nail table in my room playing around and this is what spare time produced.

I used Bettina's Grape, Haze and Secret Garden on my nails. I have so many Bettina swatches to do....

Born Pretty Store Polishes

Hi ladies, I have some polishes from bornprettystore to review. These polishes are cute and fun in size, I chose these four because they caught my eye on first impulse. They don't have polish names, just numbers. The formula is pretty easy to work with, however the green took quite a few coats (4) to become opaque. The green color is #33, the burgundy color is #41, the pink color is #17 and the blue is #31. They cost $2.75 on the site.

They have some pretty nice choice of colors to so go on over to BPS and take a look at the selection.

Nailmattic polishes

Hi ladies, this is a late post, I forgot I had some uploads to do,; this won't be too long tho. In my spare time I've been making my own polishes, you know how you buy so many polishes that you think are the perfect creations but then something is always missing?! So this is kind of why I've wanted to make my own glitter polishes, I'm madly in love with the milky polishes so I wanted to make some of those, once you get the ball rolling it's hard to stop coming up with ideas.

This is called "Celtic"

This is called "Souf Beeches"

This is called "Rebellious Lacquer"

Nailmattic "Fireberry"

It's me again, so lately I have been getting on myself about my excessive nail polish hauls.... so I was bored and browsing etsy.com where I saw a lady selling polish making stater kits. She lives in Miami and has quite a bid of neat stuff in her store. So I ordered the starter kit which consists of glitter suspension base, 14 solvent glitters, 6 empty bottles, 4 mini bottles and 8 steel mixing balls. Last night I decided to try my hand on creating a polish so below is the results. It is called "Fireberry" like this sneaker colorway that released some time last year, which is aqau, pink, black (or some may say turquoise). I don't think I will get into the polish selling business as it is very time consuming, but if I happen to master it then it could be a side gig....

I has a blue base color by itself but I layed it over Sinful colors "Rise and Shine"...

Marshmallow

Hi all, this is a quick swatch I did of Bettina's "Marshmallow" polish. It's a very creamy but solid polish as it is being applied you can see the smooth texture and its determination of opaque in 2 coats. When I ordered it I thought it would be white, but it's more of an off-white creamy polish. I have so many Bettina polishes that I need to swatch but I'll get to it.

Icing Glitters

Happy Friday all, I wore this mani the other day and forgot to blog it (becoming a habit). I've posted the green glitter (Twisted Fantasy) some time ago, so here's it's beautiful sister Candy Shop.

Now although Deborah Lippmann has a polish of this formula and name it is NOT a dupe to it. This pink is much darker and DL's polish seems to have more glitter. It's still worth buying. Also, Claire's has a polish just like this called Candy Shop and the pink is also different from both this one and DL's polish.

Butler Please

Happy Hump Day ladies (no pun intended).... Today I have a polish that I am using within days of buying it (go me), this is Butler Please by Essie. It appears to be in the royal blue family but as a second cousin. It's so smooth and attractive as a color in the bottle and on the nail. I applied 2 coats ( I think it wouldn't have hurt to use a third coat but I didn't). I also tried using the nail tape again, once you get used to it, it can be fun.

Have a nailmattic day....

Burn Book

Happy Monday all... Today I have a swatch for you from a Indie brand called Polish Addict by Laura Sanchez. I have been following her IG account and saw that she was having a sale and scooped 3 bottles up. You can check out her products here at http://www.shoppolishaddict.bigcartel.com she has lots of eye catching polishes, and she's always in the lab creating more.

So I have here Burn Book, it's a gray glitter formula which consists of red, white, black and silver glitters of different shapes. I layered it on top of Essence's "Grey to be here", have a look.

Call Me Peaches N' Cream

Happy Friday lacquerellas, we made it.... What do you have planned for your weekend, well I'm back in school so you know what that means!! So I have another polish from my Bettina polish haul, here's a creme polish called Peaches & Cream; it is a creamy peachy polish that reminded me of peachy yogurt in texture. I am so in love with Bettina polishes, their coats really do their job in covering your nail bed with colored liquid blankets. On my accent nail I chose an orange glitter by Pure Ice called Call Me. This polish contains orange fine glitter with silver circle glitters.

Have a great weekend....

Animal Cookie

Happy Hump Day ladies, how has your week been (I'm hoping you will answer silently GRRRREAT). Ok so jumping right into the purpose of my post.... POLISH. I have this indie polish called I LOVE NAIL POLISH. This is a "3 Free" indie polish that I have been following on Facebook. The girls over at ILNP offers us tons of glitter polishes that are made to sprinkle pure life into your mani (and what a great job they do). I have "Animal Cookie" to show you, it is a pink themed glitter polish filled with pink squares, white hexagons, fine pink glitter with white tinsels, combined into a masterpiece made especially for your nail bed. I really enjoyed this mani because I had no problem applying the polish ingredients to my nail, the brush did an excellent job picking up the shapes.

I used a polish by Sinful Colors called "Easy Going" as my base color, it is a baby pink polish. This polish is one that I purchased a while (years) ago, back then it did not leave a positive lasting impression with me. I haven't bought this brand in a while but I hear they changed the formula, I may give them another chance.

Well let me get this show on the road......

I LOVE NAIL POLISH!! Don't you!

Random Swatch:Starrily, Eva Supreme, WetnWild, Jordana

Hi ladies, one of my goals for this year was to swatch untried polishes.... I have so many polishes it's not even funny so why not at least swatch them. So here they are from L to R,

I have two indie polishes I received from my secret santa exchange last year, I believe she got them from etsy.com. Pajama Party is a pink milky formula polish that I know I have at least 2 dupes to it, but they are all  independently unique. The model Cement is a gray glittery formula which I am not too fond of by itself. I believe that it would be a nice mani if accompanied with grey polish as the base color.

The next polish is one I ran across a display in Walgreens, Eva Supreme run $1.99 in price. It is a shimmery green polish that's really thin in formula, I applied 3 coats of it. The glitter polish on my accent nail is from Fergie's collection by Wet N' Wild named "Kaleidescope Eyes".
The last two are by Jordana, they retail for $1.99 and are sold at Kmart. The orange colored polish is called Tangy and it's a creme formula which I found to be opaque in 2 coats, I love it. The other Jordana polish is called "Electric Blue" and it's more of a thin shimmery polish and I applied three coats of it.

*All polishes were not topped off with top coat.

All of the lights....

HAPPY NEW YEAR....
Hi all, well it' back to work for me today, but at least it'll be a short work week. I had a relaxing birthday and I am well rested. I have this Essie polish that I did last night, if you know me you know that this color spells my name! I love this color pink, it's so girly, so bright and fun to wear. A lot of the girls at work says that this color really pops and I concur. I applied 2 coats and one layer of top coat. I just love wearing pink.

This is Essie's Lights
