Day 31- Remake a already posted mani

*Violins chime in*, Well ladies, we knew this day would come and it is here!! Today is the last day, day 31 of the month long nail challenge, it has definitely been a challenge.

Jumping right into things, I have a remixed mani that I did as Day 11 which was Polka dot day, you can see that post HERE. Also, in honor of day 31 being that last day of Breast Cancer Awareness month (it lasts longer in my life), I decided to do a all pink everything for this remix using both OPI polishes.

Don't worry, I will still be posting my lacq jobs whenever I do them; I just plan on giving my nails a rest for a few days.

Until next time *curtains comes down*......

Day 30- Inspired by a tutorial

And then there was one..... One more day that is of this 31 day nail challenge! Today's challenge asks me to do a mani inspired by a tutorial, I've been a huge fan of the YouTube channel Cutepolish for some time now. I found out about this channel via a nail app I found on my iPhone.

This easy technique is called "The Braid" and it's very easy to do using 3 colors of polish and a roll of your finger with each brush stroke. For this mani I used China Glaze Breast Cancer polish called "Pool Party", Ruby Kisses HD "Tinkerbell Teal"and Orly "Dazzle".

Enjoy your Tuesday.

Day 29- Inspired by a supernatural

Monday Monday, hi all, how was your weekend? I had a 3 day weekend so I'm not mad at Monday at all. Today I have a supernatural mani that the last days of this challenge calls for.

I chose to do a alien face and a ghost, although I don't believe in anything supernatural I digressed for this challenge. It was suppose to glow in the dark but for some reason the camera wouldn't pick it up.

Have a great Monday and rest of the week :)

Day 28- Inspired by a flag

Good morning ladies, Happy Sunday to you all. Today my mani is a flag of my culture, being Jamaican born I had no other choice but to represent!

Hope you all have a relaxing Sunday

Day 27- Inspired by artwork

Hi ladies today I am showing you another mani challenge, today is do a nail art inspired by artwork. I chose the late Keith Haring because I think his work is simple but yet meaningful. I love the little faceless people and the colorful pieces he does.

Hope all of you are having a great weekend!!

Day 26- Inspired by a pattern

Happy Friday y'all, I've had the day off so I've been busy all day and I do apologize for the late post. I managed to snap a quick shot of my nails from a tube top I have. It's not much but I did a lol something!!

Day 25- Inspired by fashion

Hi all, today is a day in the challenge that I feel happy about doing, because it's something I am quite fond of-- Fashion! I love the fashion world and all that it entails.

I chose a handbag by Marc Jacobs that I've had my eye on, a potential "self gift" for my bday or X-mas present. This bag is the model style "Classic Q Lil Ukita flap" in Coral. I know it may not be a fall or winter color but I break the rules of fashion a lot!!

This polish I used by LA Girl is called "platforms", another untried bottle.....till now!

Happy Friday eve!'

Day 24- Inspired by a book

Reading is fundamental, painting the inspiration on my nails is just plain ol FUN!! Hi ladies, today I've got a heartfelt personal post being that this book has been in my collection for years. I find so much similarity of feelings in my friends and my life in this book. If I didn't get bored so easily I would read this book agin for the gazillionth time!!

This book is by the rapper/social activist Sister Souljah, she has been the voice of urban womanhood for many years. I implore you to pick up a copy, borrow it, kindle it whatever way you can get it because it's a guaranteed "can't put down" piece of literature.

Day 23- Inspired by a movie

Hi all, Tuesday is here, I hope Monday wasn't too bad on you. I have here today's challenge which is to pick a movie that inspired your mani; I chose NEW JACK CITY in case you couldn't figure it out.

It is a hood classic to say the least. The chocolate bar is a souvenir I got in JFK NYC airport many years ago I vowed never to eat, I thought it was a nice touch.

Have a great day.

Day 22- Inspired by a song

Hi all, back to the grindstone of the work week we are right! Well I am moving along into the final category of "Inspired by" in this nail challenge. Today I've chosen the song "Superstar" by Luther Vandross, one of my favorite songs by him which is also a rendition of the Carpenter's song who first sang it. I used two untried polishes today, one by Essence- Modern Romance and Wet N Wild Fergie "Hollywood walk of fame".

Both polish brands I've used before and have no complaints regarding them.

Have a great Monday and a even better week you all.

Day 21- Inspired by color

Hi week-Enders, today I have now entered the "inspired by" category of the challenge, I don't quite get how I'm goin to pull this off but where there's a will there's a way. I love pink and I am always inspired by this color so that's what I've chosen. I have some splatter colored leggings on so I've kinda mimicked that. I used Color club's "Warhol".

Day 20- Water Marble

Hey ladies I made my post in before the new day started, I've been busy ALL day. I have my mani to show you which is my first try of the water marble technique. It can be very messy at first but I think I got the hang of it for the next try. I used all OPI polishes.

Day 19- Galaxy

Ahhhhh I'm not too thrilled with my first try of galaxy nails, but I tried so here it is......

Happy Friday

Day 18- Half moon

Hi all, today I have a half moon mani for you to see. This is the first time I'm trying this and the first time I'm using this Elf polish. I gotta say that I like the bottle appearance of this Elf polish it's kinda fancy-shmancy lol.

I picked this baby up at Target for $2. The formula is thick but smooth and dries in a nice, shiny coat. This is a darker royal green with shimmer to it. The gold polish underneath is by Barielle I forgot the name at the moment but I will edit this once I get to the bottle.

The one drawback of this Elf polish is the mini brush, not feeling it at all; it's like twice the brush stroke application cause it's so small.

Have a great day (almost Friday :)

Day 17 challenge- Glitter

Happy Hump Day ladies, we've got one leg over the hump to Friday. Today I have #17 of the challenge and it calls for some good ol glitter! I've had the pleasure of using this untried twin pack of OPI polish (Breast Cancer Awareness). The pink polish is called "I think in pink" & the glitter is "You glitter be good to me".

The creator of the pack knows how to pair up 2 good polishes for layers in my opinion, they nailed it.

Day 16 challenge-Tribal

Hi my pretty little lacquerinas, it's Tuesday and another day closer to Friday. Today I have a handful of tribal nails to add to the challenge collection. I used an untried polish by Cynthia Rowley (no model name), I bought this in a pack of two for 5.99 at TJmaxx some months ago. I like her formula, it reminds me of Nars polish. I use two coats for the background. The red nails I used a untried Milani polish I forget the name sorry :(

My tribe name is Lady Pack-a-Polish lol :)

Day 15 challenge- Delicate print

Now when you think of delicate print, what do you think of? Ok I'll wait..... I googles and surveyed people and no one could give me a definite answer on what delicate print is, so today I give you what I thought it is forgive me.....

By the way this polish is called Slapper
