I'm Addicted to Fairy Dust

Oh Great! Going thru my pics on break and realize I didn't post these pics of my nails from last week arghhhhhh

Here is Essie's I'm Addcted under China Glaze "Fairy Dust". I got Fairy Dust in a nail swap I got about a week ago. I'm surprised I didn't already have it!

Essie- Serial Shopper

Good morning polished pretties, how was your weekend? Probably thinking it was too short like I do. My Mother's Day was very relaxing and I even had dinner made for me so I'm good with that.

I did get a nice group of polishes for my Mother's Day gift so I'm even more good. On my nails is one polish from my gift which is from Essie "Too Taboo" 2014 collection. This color is a coral/peach color. I had a slight problem with the application, I found it to be a little thick & took more time than I liked to dry. This is 3 coats of Serial Shopper.

The Beauty Buffs: Radiant Orchid

Good morning everyone! Happy Hump Day to you all. I hope your week has been fun and free from stress so far (as easy as that might sound, it can happen). My week has been pretty mundane so I won't complain (Ha that rhymes--go me :).

So today I present to you another edition from the girls and me over at The Beauty Buffs, this edition we are presented with the challenge of posting in regards to the color Radiant Orchid. It is a beautiful that people don't normally pay attention to and it's also Pantone's color of the year this year. I consider it to be a member the color purple's family.

For my choice, I chose to use an untried polish from Essie's 2013 Neon collection. This is "DJ Play That Song". This is 3 coats of it, in the first pic you'll see it dries with a matte finish which I have no problem with. In the second picture I added a top coat after I designed a few white and orchid polka dots.

Have a wonderful day and please do a little sight seeing while checking out the other Radiant Orchid posts by the other beauty buffs :)).

Platinum Belugaria

Out of the whole Essie "Encrusted Treasures" collection, this is the only one I had to have!! It just seemed so elegant and reminded me of caviar bling lol!!
On my other nails I'm wearing another polish from Bettina's "Grandeur" collection, this one is Platinum, now you know you can't have bling without platinum jewels!! This polish has a silver/gold tone to it? It has fine gold glitters in the mix of things also,

11 MORE DAYS TILL MY BDAY!! I'm getting my birthday nails ideas into the brain storm!!

I hope you all are getting your Christmas shopping done, you have some time left but I wouldn't call it a lot of time!!

Happy Holidays

30 Day nail challenge day 5- Blue

Hi all and happy Friday eve...

Today I'm using a untried polish by Essie and OPI. The Essie polish I only applied two coats for opacity and it's called "Avenue Maintain".

The textured polish on my ring finger is OPI's Liquid Sand polish called "Get your number".

Hope my nails are the only ones having the blues today :)

Lollipop

U know I would have never thought I'd like red polish on me as much as I've grown to love it on my talons. Now red lipstick I know I'll never like on me, it's just not for me.

Today I'm wearing another Essie polish I got from Big Lots for $1, yes $1. There's nothing special about the formula but just that it's user friendly and opaques in just two coats.

Oh and I did a little tape design on my accent nail ring finger too :).

Have a happy Friday y'all!

Essie- Haute as hello

Hey all today is Monday and blahhhhhhhhh anyhew I wanted to share with you all, my drizzle nails. This is my second time doing and I really doing this technique. You have to make sure before you apply the polish in a drizzle dragging motion that the polish you've set on paper is tacky and stringy. I suggest taping your nails like you would when doing a water marble mani.

I used a orange stick but you can also use a toothpick.

Now my review of this polish I bought by Essie, it's a bit streaky at first. The second coat slightly covers it but a third thin layer is opaque success!

Essie X Island Girl

Hi ladies, here's my current mani using an Island Girl polish I received in a HUGE nail mail package last week from my home slice The Sneakerette (if you follow me on IG u saw I stoked i was about all the goodies I got). Here is a mani I did using an indie looking polish called Island Sunset. On my accent nail I used Essie's "Naughty Nautical" which goes super well with the glitter in the the IG polish. This is 3 coats of Island Girl and 2 coats of Essie.

Spike Me Down

Hi ladies, I have this mani that's spiked me with excitement. I purchased these spikes from BornPrettyStore.com, as long as I had to wait to receive this; I'm still excited to get them anyway.

Although the spikes are only on my accent nail, I'm just too thrilled to finally see what I had envisioned when I put them in my cart to checkout. You don't want to overdo the spikes with fashion. The red-orange color on my nails are from Essie's "Resort" collection. I recently purchased this collection, all except for 1 polish of the DJ collection and 2 from the wedding 2013 collection. I'm loving my nail supply inventory and prices.

Lastly, the sinful colors polish I'm using is "Why Not" from the Sure Bet collection.E Enjoy your hump day *wiggles accent finger at you all*

Where's my chauffeur

Hi ladies, this is a mani I did on Sunday for the Californails feb nail art challenge. I gotta say that I haven't done another day because it's every 3 days and I've already forgotten!! I'm so used to doing a challenge day every day.

Here I've used an untried polish by Essie from the Leading Lady collection. This is "Where's my chauffeur". I got this for 2.50 at this nail supply store I was stoked to get it so cheap.

Butler Please

Happy Hump Day ladies (no pun intended).... Today I have a polish that I am using within days of buying it (go me), this is Butler Please by Essie. It appears to be in the royal blue family but as a second cousin. It's so smooth and attractive as a color in the bottle and on the nail. I applied 2 coats ( I think it wouldn't have hurt to use a third coat but I didn't). I also tried using the nail tape again, once you get used to it, it can be fun.

Have a nailmattic day....

All of the lights....

HAPPY NEW YEAR....
Hi all, well it' back to work for me today, but at least it'll be a short work week. I had a relaxing birthday and I am well rested. I have this Essie polish that I did last night, if you know me you know that this color spells my name! I love this color pink, it's so girly, so bright and fun to wear. A lot of the girls at work says that this color really pops and I concur. I applied 2 coats and one layer of top coat. I just love wearing pink.

This is Essie's Lights
