KBShimmer Summer 2015 Swatches *pic heavy*

Hey beauties

I have been forgetting to publish this post that has been in my drafts for a few weeks now. I quickly jumped on swatching these vibrant polishes from KBShimmer's Summer 2015 collection. There are a variety of polish types in this collection: cremes, glitter, holo, crelly and flakies; you will find your type for sure. These will be available at the KBShimmer website on May 15th so go ahead and break the bank, these will be a great addition to your collection.

Here are the ones I chose from the collection to swatch, all have been swatched in coats of 3 w/o a top coat. You will see a difference in pic quality for a few of these, that is because I started out early swatching and then took a break; next time all will be photographed at the same time.

Hot Pink Holo

Hey hump dayers lol!! How is your week going? Mine was going ok until I got word that my close neighbor died on Saturday. I haven't found out yet what killed her but I am sure she is free from all the pain she was enduring.

On to my nails, I am wearing a polish by Nabi which is a holographic 3-D effect polish. I haven't bought holo polishes in a bit, I happen to be a part of the Polish-aholics Anonymous facebook group and a nail supply store in Brooklyn is closing and decided to sell a few items. I got 4 Nabi holo polishes for $2 each and had them shipped to me.

I am wearing 3 coats and 1 coat of top coat of HOT PINK by Nabi.

Miss Bliss, Bless Your Heart

Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY *Does the cabbage patch*

So my mani today is brought to you by a Color Club Holo called "Miss Bliss" and a Polish & Co. polish called "Bless your heart". I am not gonna lie to you, if I could pick a polish to wear 24,7 I would surely rock this Color Club holo. I've worn this polish before and have gotten so many compliments, people are just at awe at its sunlight/light reflections; the prisms in it seems to mesmerize people.

The Polish & Co. polish is a soft pink polish which you will find opaque in just two coats, it dries to an awesome shine so a top coat is optional.

Comic Cute Eternal Beauty

Hi ladies, I'd like to show you a mani I'm just so GIGGITY GIGGITY over... Here's a limited edition Archie's polish starring MAC Cosmetics. I dug deep in my wallet & gave them $17 for one polish. For some reason I just HAVE TO try out a pink polish when trying a new brand.

I live this color and its name is Comic Cute. The MAC store was stupid busy and it was a good thing cause I was tempted to look around, I said nope and jetted outta there. In this mani I also included another lovely holo from Color Club's '13 collection, this one is called Eternal Beauty. I just love the prism effect in sunlight have a looky see.....

Uptown Girl Eternal Beauty

Hi ladies and Happy Friday eve... Today is my Friday so hands up for me!! Today I have a mani to share with you using a new brand that a fellow blogger refined & polished introduced to me via Facebook. This brand is Bondi (pronounced bond-ai) which is established in the Big Apple. Being a former New Yorker I was pretty stoked to give them a try. I purchased two polishes during their BOGO B2GETTWO promo last week. You can check them out at http://www.bondinewyork.com.

They have thee coolest names for their polishes such as Lady Liberty, NYPD Blue, City Slicker and etc. Today I am wearing Uptown Girl which is a purple formula which I found opacity in just two coats. The Holo I used is from Color Club's 2013 collection and it's called Eternal Beauty. I purchased the collection on eBay for $35, they're all so beautiful.

I am also trying out a new top coat I heard about in my bloggers group by Essence I have provided a pic below, it's $2.49 and the ladies rave good reviews about it so I'll try my hand with it --I mean nails :))).

Where's my Czechbook Holo

Hey Laquerboos, today I have a OPI polish from the Euro Centrale collection to show you. This one is "Where's my Czechbook". Now while I like the polish all by its lonesome, I had to try a layer of Kleancolor's Teal Holo polish over it.

Even though yesterday's sunlight made for the perfect day to take pics outdside, I had a tough time trying to capture the essence of it in the light. I think I'm good with the pictures I managed to salvage out out the gazillion I took lol. I bought a pack of 5 different types of mini holo polishes from Ross for 3.99 some moths ago.

I like the idea of the holo overlay....

Color Club Holo polishes

I had to hurry and put these swatches up because this week I'm going away with my boo in celebration of Valentine's Day. I just got these polishes in $14 shipped thru a seller on amazon.com.

By now you all know these are Color Club Halo Hues polishes. I will tell you that I have been revived since my let down by Essence's attempt at the holo formula; these gave me life!! The first one is called "Halo-Graphic" and the second polish is "Blue Heaven".
I love this polish, they seem so fun and in my best Claire Huxtable voice "let the record show" Color Club is in my top brands!!
