Sexy Surf'n

This polish I just HAD to have, like the perfect pair of heels or kicks that you just had to have, to go with your outfit; well this one was made for me. I can't tell you how long I've been on a polish haul in search of the perfect color turquoise. This is by NYX and it's called Surf, it's so sexy to me, a sexy summer color I'd like to say. I got this from cherryculture.com for maybe $3 but don't quote me, instead head on over there and see their stash for yourself I got a deal deal for the low! I'm not too excited about my accent nail, so I may end up changing it again but that's the thing about blogging that I like, it doesn't have to be perfect.

What the Duck?

Just when I was thinking that I kinda like the stilleto/oval nails they threw some acetone in and remixed it. With this latest nail trend, I am JUST NOT seeing myself following this one. In my utmost honest opinion I think this shape nail is a bit too glam even for me and downright hideous. Now, I am not knocking those that choose to rock em, but these oddly shaped nails, GET THE DUCK OUTTA HERE!! What you think folks?

Pop that thang

I'll be away for the next 5 days so don't send a search party out for me, I'll be back!! Today I used the American Apparel "Poppy", which reminds me of red-orange color in person. I love this color on me!! I think its texture and shine really pops. See u when I get back, I may pop in with a quick post if I go on a polish haul.

1. I hardly ever listen to the local radio station while driving. I'll listen to music on my ipod or phone or an app which features stations in another city or state.
2. I used to have an obsession with journals, i'd have several for different topics.
3. Pink is my all time favorite color, but I now cannot determine which shade stands out the most to me.
4. I do not like talking on the phone for more than 30 minutes unless I haven't spoken to you in a really long time or it just can't be communicated thru text.
5. My favorite chips of all time are the Wise Crunchy Cheese Doodles (blue bag).
6. I love OPI, Color Club and LA Girl's formula immensly, they work so well for me.
7. While shopping, I always tend to gravitate to the largest of earrings. I think I make them look good!

I LOVE PINK has always been MY slogan, Vicky Secrets bit off me just so y'all know!! OPI "Strawberry Margarita" is the choice of lacquer tonight. On my accent nail I used Sally Hansen's "White Out" with LA Colors black nail art brush. CHEERS!!

LA Girl is a fruit case

I can't remember who's blog I was on that I read about these LA Girl polishes, anyhow after the last period of the blog summary I went on a mission to get them. In Florida I have no Rite Aid in my shopping areas so I took to what I know best.... eBay!! I got all 6 of this LA Girl "Fruity" collection for $20 free shipping. The polishes are scented, I don't own any scented polishes so I hope my smelling senses will be pleasantly surprised with the products. The numbers and bottles are labeled as:

5. Strawberry Delight
6. Watermelon Splash

Planks A lot

I used three different shades, I started to do the Ombré nail trend but I didn't feel like it anymore. Here I used OPI "Planks A Lot", Orly "Charged Up" and Sally Hansen "Lacy Lilac". Lastly on my accent nail i added a few music notes which were very easy to do, just by using a dotting tool and a nail art brush for the lines.
