NYC TRIP PICS

Hi everyone, better late than never that I'm sharing with you all some pics from my NYC trip last week....

Mr. Nailmattic and I went to so many places we didn't take pics of (well I didn't) but keep in mind that I'm from NY and he's from Chicago. I spent most of the time showing him places I used to frequent when growing up. I will cherish this trip because he got to be a part of memories that I hold so near and dear to me :) I haven't been back home in 2 years so this trip was a mental refresher.

I finally got a hold of some macaroons on my trip from this cafe called Macaron Cafe in Manhattan.... DELISH ... If you're in the NYC area or plan to visit you should look them up

Macaron Cafe

I had the mocha then the peanut butter & jelly...

Me in front of the brownstone in Harlem that we stayed in...

I think iKat

Hey everyone it's Monday (everyone groans lol), but don't be too down about it, you only have 3 more hurdle days to reach Friday :).

So boredom got the best of me last night and I decided to try a nail art that was on my list, the ikat design.... I've seen it done in so many pretty color combos and wanted to see if it is as easy as it looks in the Youtube and it is... The pink polish i'm wearing is from NYC (Walmart) and it's called Lafayette Pink. The navy blue polish is from Milani Color Statement "Ink Spot" and believe it or not it's ONE COAT.

Also, when I'm in the mood (which I am now) for longer nails I put on oval shaped nails by Kiss.

Sparklicious

Hi all!!

I'm pressed for time, kinda busy day ahead of me...
So today's mani is brought to you by L'oreal, Rimmel & NYC. For my base color I used Rimmel's 60 second polish called "Cupcake Pink", it's a sheer pink that's very soft; not my normal purchase I know I'm a cream girl. This is 2 coats of it at first. On to the glitz of things, I topped off the cupcake with some glitter; who doesn't like sprinkles on their cupcake :).

For the pink glitter I used NYC's "Pink Bling" which features pink and silver fine glitter. Secondly I used L'oreal's magic top coat called "the sparklicious". It has black octagon & silver shaped glitters w/ silver tinsel glitters.

Have a sparkly day.... My talons will!!
