Happy Saturday beauties!!

I am enjoying the weather today, it's so beautiful outside I refuse to sit in the house!! Anyhoo, check out by third post for the Inspired by Fashion theme of the month for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I'm inspired by this Love Moschino Quilted shoulder bag that's on my wishlist :)

I'm also using for the first time this China Ever Glaze polish called Faux Your Love. The formula was a little thick for my liking but with a little polish thinner I dumbed it down to a better average formula (not thin or thick).

~SHE BAGS~ Amy Robinson

Hello everyone, I'm going to assume that you all had a safe, fun and/or relaxing weekend! If not, you have this weekend coming up to give it another shot :).

Today I bring to you another interview for my segment SHE BAGS , so far I've done 3 (I hope you've had the chance to check those out). 

Today's interview is of a young lady whom has been a friend to me for almost two decades... I cannot tell a lie, I have known for years about her addiction love for handbags and yes I condone it lol. Now, while I can't specifically narrow down the type of handbag brands she likes because it various, along with the colors and styles; she's always up to toting something that makes them together not just an outfit, but a power couple lol. 
What I can tell you is that..... SHE BAGS!!!

May I introduce you to Amy Robinson...... 

Name- Amy Robinson

Location- Atlanta, GA

There are plenty of women who don't like handbags, of course you aren't one of them; how important of an accessory is a handbag to you? and why? I love handbags.  They are the perfect accessory to make any outfit pop.  Biggest bonus is being able to carry around all my important items at the same time (phones, checkbook, wallet, many many lip glosses and lipsticks).

What handbag are you currently wearing? Today I have my red Halston Heritage bag...it's HUGE!

What is your most preferred handbag style (shoulder, satchel, hobo, crossbody etc.) and why? I love satchels and shoulder bags come in for a close 2nd place.  I have definitely become a handbag lady in my older age HA.  They are just more comfortable for me (since I like large ones) and are prominent when you walk into a room.

Top 5 items you must carry in your handbag? Phones, checkbook, wallet, lip gloss/lipstick and eye lash brushes.

What handbag is currently on your wishlist? LOTS of bags HA.  I would really like a nice grey leather satchel...brands don't matter as much to me anymore.  As long as it's a great quality bag I am ok with trying out new designers.

Besides a nice handbag, what other accessory is a important piece to your attire?  Shoes, it should also make an outfit pop.

How do you justify an expensive handbag purchase? I don't buy them that often so I look at my purchases as an investment.  They will last for years so they are well worth it!

What do you like most about the handbag you are wearing right now?  It's huge and red.  I get lots of compliments on it.

Lastly, finish this sentence: If (name a designer) asked me to design a handbag, I'd definitely use the material ________!  If Isabella Fiore asked me to design a handbag, I'd definitely use leather material with metal!  She only does leather bags and I am sure they would pop with metal accents on them.  Just a thought :)

There are plenty of women who don't like handbags, of course you aren't one of them; how important of an accessory is a handbag to you? and why? I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a nice sexy bag. My handbag helps start off my outfit. It gives me my mood for the day. It helps determine if I'm going to be sexy, sophisticated, or casual.

What handbag are you currently wearing? MICHAEL KORS LARGE TANGERINE BOWLING SATCHEL/SHOULDER BAG. 

What is your most preferred handbag style and why? I love MK!!!! His brand seems to have a style fit for everyone and at a reasonable price. My fave styles consists of a nice satchel or shoulder bag. The bigger the bag the better (with kids especially).

Top 5 items you must carry in your handbag? #1- Lip balm {With a back up}, #2- Lotion, #3- Wallet, #4- Kindle, and #5- Gum :o) 

What handbag is currently on your wishlist? I have 3 bags on my wishlist……#1- Celine Nano, #2- Chanel Boy Bag and #3- Prada ………Which is where they'll stay until I can afford one…..LOL!!!!!

Besides a nice handbag, what other accessory is an important piece to your attire? Accessories are a must!!!!! But my all time fave piece is a nice WATCH!!! I have so many I started hiding them from my husband (what this watch? Oh it's old ;).

How do you justify an expensive handbag purchase? I always have to justify a handbag purchase to my husband no matter how much it may be. This is how I sell it to him…LOL…. "Baby they had a sale going. Guess how much I paid?" This works for the most part. I normally get my expensive bags on sale. I can never see myself paying full price for anything. I worked for a dept store up North called Century 21 which carries all types of name brands {D&G, Prada, Moschino, Seven for all Mankind} just to name a few. Things at this Dept store sell at discounted prices. I recommend it if you're in the NY area to hit this place up you will fall in love.

What do you like the most about the handbag you're currently wearing? I for one LOVE the color. I like a bag that pops but can be worn with many items. I also like that I can fit lots of stuff in it without looking funny or being too heavy.

Finish this sentence: If (designer) asked me to design a handbag, the material I'd use is? If Fossil asked me to design a handbag, the material i'd use is a nice subtle leather.

For my second post today, I'd like to introduce a new addition to my family of posts; this post will within the likes of fashion. Aside from being a nail polish addict, I also have a love for fashion and all it entails; one huge part being in the handbag genre. 

Who can deny the beauty of a well made handbag?! Who wouldn't want one? I confess I've drooled over several handbags in my lifetime--ones I could and couldn't afford. Throughout my life my mother taught me the rules of having a quality, classy handbag; I managed to get a few!

So to put a few new moves here in Nailmattic's steps, I've established some interviews pertaining to those women of the world, who (such as myself) share the same addiction  love for handbags. 

Today I'd like to introduce you to a dear friend of mine who is indeed a self-confessed lover of Le handbags. We have gotten into many deep conversations about handbags, I couldn't ever say after our discussions it didn't prompt me to go browsing my favorite online stores for the latest handbag arrivals.....

The handbag is the most important accessory because it helps bring your whole outfit together. Without a good bag you might as well give up on your whole look. 

What handbag are you currently wearing? The bag that I'm rocking right now is the MCM (Mode Creation Munich) black monogram reversible shopper tote 

What is your most preferred handbag style and why? My most preferred handbag style is a tote bag. My job lets me work from home a few days a week so I need a stylish yet big enough for me to bring my work home in.

Top 5 items you must carry in your handbag? My top 5 items that I carry in my bag are: Ipad, My makeup bag, lotion, Iphone and my sunglasses.

Top 5 handbags on your wishlist? Oh I only have to pick 5?! There's so many! lol  1) Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag in Neon Yellow, Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere 30 in Cherry red, MCM "Keana" medium boston bag in green, 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Medium satchel in any color and Marc by Marc Jacobs showbox "Darcy" in red.

Besides a nice handbag, what other accessory is a important piece to your attire? Another important accessory well accessories is definitely Jewelry and a good lipstick. Both make your whole look pop.

How do you justify an expensive handbag purchase? When buying an expensive bag I equate it to buying an piece of art. It's beautiful and a nice investment :)

What do you like the most about the handbag you're currently wearing? I like the fact that it's reversible and that it came with a clutch. It's like you're getting two bags for the price of one :).

Day 25- Inspired by fashion

Hi all, today is a day in the challenge that I feel happy about doing, because it's something I am quite fond of-- Fashion! I love the fashion world and all that it entails.

I chose a handbag by Marc Jacobs that I've had my eye on, a potential "self gift" for my bday or X-mas present. This bag is the model style "Classic Q Lil Ukita flap" in Coral. I know it may not be a fall or winter color but I break the rules of fashion a lot!!

This polish I used by LA Girl is called "platforms", another untried bottle.....till now!
