Avon Speedry- Mambo Melon

HAPPY FRIDAY FOLKS.... if you're off on the weekends then ya done good for the week, you made it; WE MADE IT!!

All week my job has been telling us to wear something red in honor of Women's Heart Disease and I chose to wear red nails and sneakers instead of the traditional red shirt.

On my nails is a polish by Avon Speed Dry called "Mambo Melon". I had no intention for this brand, I did one of those shut my eyes and pick moves when I was looking for a polish to wear. SOME of my red polishes are together like my pink polishes.

I'm pleased with the formula it is thin but not streaky. Here's 3 coats... I only did 3 coats because I wanted it to be really red, however you'd be good with 2 coats.

Have a fun, safe and relaxing weekend.

Miss Bliss, Bless Your Heart

Good morning and HAPPY FRIDAY *Does the cabbage patch*

So my mani today is brought to you by a Color Club Holo called "Miss Bliss" and a Polish & Co. polish called "Bless your heart". I am not gonna lie to you, if I could pick a polish to wear 24,7 I would surely rock this Color Club holo. I've worn this polish before and have gotten so many compliments, people are just at awe at its sunlight/light reflections; the prisms in it seems to mesmerize people.

The Polish & Co. polish is a soft pink polish which you will find opaque in just two coats, it dries to an awesome shine so a top coat is optional.

China Glaze "City Flourish" swatch

Good morning polish people...

Today I'm going to be showing you some swatches of these China Glaze polishes from their recently released collection called "City Flourish", I picked this up from Ulta last weekend; the promotion was 2 for $12. With that being said, don't forget to use your #3.50 off coupon; it does save lives.

This polish is called " Petal to the Metal" now there has been talk that the formulas for this collection is terrible but I loved the formula-- at least for this polish; I had no problem with this polish whatsoever. The formula was just right in texture, it applied smoothly without any streaks on the first coat.

Now for the second polish I can't say that I had the same thrill swatching it. I didn't like the formula for this polish at all, reason being that it was very streaky. I feel like this formula was thick and took forever to dry between coats. I normally like this color for CG polishes but this one is swinging a miss, sorry CG I cannot lie! This one is called "Lotus Begin".

I OPI-- Dining Al Frisco

Good morning beauties and happy hump day...

Today on my nails I have two OPI polishes. The base color I'm wearing is called "Dining Al Frisco", it is from the San Francisco collection. I thought this polish would be a shimmer bomb type formula, but it ended up not being that at all and I love it. I've applied 2 coats w/o a top coat.

The top coat I'm wearing is from Mariah Carey's collection with OPI called the "18k White Gold & Silver" top coat. I got this on sale from Ulta recently and I'm not like overjoyed about it, I feel like it's not as extravagant as I expected. I just don't feel like it's unique, I actually like the gold flakes from last year better.

Lastly, here are some pictures of mani current situation....

OPI- Brazil Swatches

Good morning all....

Today I have to share with you some swatches of the newly released collection by OPI named the "Brazil" collection. I don't think this collection warranted ALL of my money, so I chose the ones that fits me the best (of course the creme brights). I have just 3 of the bright colors and in just a few ticks I will show you what they're made of.

This first one is called "Where did Suzi's Man-Go". This is a creamy orangey-mango color, I couldn't stop thinking about a mango smoothie as I applied this polish. The quality is the usual rich formula that OPI is known for. I've applied two coats, no top coat.

Kiss Me I'm Brazilian- This next one is a hot pink formula which I've applied two coats of without a top coat.

I Just Can't Cope-Acabana- <--- coolest name of the bunch. This is a bright canary yellow polish. I had to have this color, I think yellow looks nice on me.

~She Bags~ A The Great

For my second post today, I'd like to introduce a new addition to my family of posts; this post will within the likes of fashion. Aside from being a nail polish addict, I also have a love for fashion and all it entails; one huge part being in the handbag genre.

Who can deny the beauty of a well made handbag?! Who wouldn't want one? I confess I've drooled over several handbags in my lifetime--ones I could and couldn't afford. Throughout my life my mother taught me the rules of having a quality, classy handbag; I managed to get a few!

So to put a few new moves here in Nailmattic's steps, I've established some interviews pertaining to those women of the world, who (such as myself) share the same addiction  love for handbags.

Today I'd like to introduce you to a dear friend of mine who is indeed a self-confessed lover of Le handbags. We have gotten into many deep conversations about handbags, I couldn't ever say after our discussions it didn't prompt me to go browsing my favorite online stores for the latest handbag arrivals.....

I'd like you to read about "A The Great", find out how She Bags......

Name- $A$ the Great aka Lady A

Location- Broooooklyn!

There are plenty of women who don't like handbags, of course you aren't one of them; how important of an accessory is a handbag to you? and why- OMG! The handbag is the most important accessory because it helps bring your whole outfit together. Without a good bag you might as well give up on your whole look.

What handbag are you currently wearing? The bag that I'm rocking right now is the MCM (Mode Creation Munich) black monogram reversible shopper tote

What is your most preferred handbag style and why? My most preferred handbag style is a tote bag. My job lets me work from home a few days a week so I need a stylish yet big enough for me to bring my work home in.

Top 5 items you must carry in your handbag? My top 5 items that I carry in my bag are: Ipad, My makeup bag, lotion, Iphone and my sunglasses.

Top 5 handbags on your wishlist? Oh I only have to pick 5?! There's so many! lol  1) Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag in Neon Yellow, Louis Vuitton Speedy Bandouliere 30 in Cherry red, MCM "Keana" medium boston bag in green, 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Medium satchel in any color and Marc by Marc Jacobs showbox "Darcy" in red.

Besides a nice handbag, what other accessory is a important piece to your attire? Another important accessory well accessories is definitely Jewelry and a good lipstick. Both make your whole look pop.

How do you justify an expensive handbag purchase? When buying an expensive bag I equate it to buying an piece of art. It's beautiful and a nice investment :)

What do you like the most about the handbag you're currently wearing? I like the fact that it's reversible and that it came with a clutch. It's like you're getting two bags for the price of one :).

Finish this sentence: If (designer) asked me to design a handbag, the material i'd use is________! If Louis Vuitton asked me I'd have to say I'd use Python print because it's just too freaking sexy

"Just throw it in the bag" (chimes in as finale song)..... and that people is how She Bags.... stay tuned to find out who I bag for the next interview :)))).

China Glaze Sea Goddess- Shall We Dance?

Hi ladies,

This is the second time I'm posting this so I'm a bit frustrated....

On my nails today is a polish by China Glaze that I picked up from Sally's this weekend. It is from the recently released "Sea Goddess" collection. This is a all pink glitter textured polish. It's more sparkly than the rest of the textured polishes they have released so far.

Below you'll see pics of two coats w/o a top coat.
