Key Lime Shine-Nanigans

Good morning everyone, how have you all been? I haven't made a blog post in two days and it feels like forever! I hope I didn't lose anyone, are ya still with me lol!

Today on my nails I'm wearing another polish from Bettina's Spring collection called "Keylime", it's a little darker than lime green in my opinion. This is two coats without a top coat. Bettina's polish is good for shining all on its own!

Speaking of shining, on my ring and pinky finger, I'm wearing a polish from China Glaze's Surprise collection, this one is called "Shine-Nanigans". This is a fun glitter polish that has lime green, purple and burgundy circle & octagon shaped glitter.

I'm loving the fact that I've been using my OPI glitter off on all my glitter designs.

Jealous of a go glitter

Good morning, how do?

How am I doing? I'm doing the necessary to make it to Friday :), we are one step closer!! Today on my nails I'm wearing a polish from Sally Hansen's Triple Shine Palm Beach Jellies collection. You can find these at CVS, Walgreens and I've seen them at Walmart for $4.57.

If you're into jelly polishes then these will win you over. I've been a creme girl for so long I decided to branch out. I've got on "Jell-ous?", it's very very thin. You will see below I've applied 3 coats and look how sheer it is!

The glitter I'm using is by China Glaze from their 2014 Surprise collection, this one is called "I'm a Go Glitter". I found this to be the perfect match for it with the jelly being a similar color to the burgundy glitter.

Have you tried any of these yet? If so, let me know which one & how you like them.

The Beauty Buffs: Yellow

Good morning & Happy Hump Day!

Today's post brings to my blog, another post from The Beauty Buffs group post roundup! Yellow is the favorite child this time around and I just love wearing yellow (when I'm not wearing pink that is)!!

For something yellow I chose an untried polish from Bettina's Spring Colors 2014 collection just recently released, this is 3 coats of what they call Sunkissed.

Also I'm including in my post today a shot of one of my favorite yellow earrings, I call it my Lemon Drop earrings...

Please be a doll and check out the posts from the other beauty buffs rocking out with their favorite yellows today!!

Matted Sprinkles

Good morning all and how was your Monday? My Monday wasn't bad at all, I can say I had a productive day.

On my nails today consists of 2 untried polishes (I am on the road to success with my untried stash). The coral colored polish which is on my index and middle finger is called "Instyle Coral", it is from Rimmel's "Festival Colour" 2014 collection sold at Walgreens for $1.69. This is really pretty in person and is opaque in 3 coats for me. I love to wear this color in the spring and summer, as matter of fact I like to break fashion rules; I wear any color for any season. This is 3 coats w/o a top coat.

The glitter polish on my other two fingers is a polish I got from Rue 21-- I swear every time I go there, some polishes manage to catch my eye and I have to have it. This line is called Candy Confetti and guess what.... it doesn't have a cool name (womp womp). I know many of you have seen this glitter mix made by many other brands, but I happen to like this mix; it's fun to me. For this polish I've applied 3 coats, the formula is average and friendly, it doesn't streak.

Lastly, I've chosen to mattify this mani using OPI's Matte top coat. I was curious to see if I would like it and that I did.
Which style do you prefer? Glossy or Matte for this look?

Belle of the Mall- KB Shimmer

Good morning people!!

How was your Easter, hoping that you all enjoyed your Easter holiday. Mine was peaceful and enjoyable. Today I have a polish from KB Shimmer, as soon as I saw swatches of it I had to have it!! This one is a pink glitter blingathon formula called "Belle of the mall", I thought the name was so neat as my honey always says I am a certified shopper lol.

This is a jelly glitter formula, I like it because I don't have too many jelly glitters and this one has enough glitters in it never to complain about not having enough. This is 3 coats without a top coat.

Have a great week!!

Fresh As A Daisy Sally Girl

HAPPY FRIDAY!! What do you have planned for the weekend? Me, I have no idea after my hair is done. I hear we are suppose to get some rainfall so if that's the case it'll be me, cheesecake and all my Golden Girls DVD collection!! I love that show to death.

So today on my nails I'm wearing a polish from my untried stash. I picked this up about 3 weeks ago from Sally's for .99 they were also a part of the B2G1 deal. This one is a lacquer-glitter indie looking polish and it's called "Fresh As A Daisy". It's really pretty in and out of the bottle and the formula isn't bad. The brush picks up the glitter in abundance so that's a plus for me. The first layer is a little thin but the next 2 layers is opaque enough for my taste w/o that glitter bomb barf look lol.

I'll be showing you the other 2 I got with this haul during the weekend.

Enjoy yours!!

Beaded Stucco On You

Hi and Good Morning!! I'm feeling so good this morning and it's not even pay week or Friday lol... Hope you all are in good spirits as well.

I'd like to share with you all what's on my nails today which is 3 untried polishes. I am wearing the last of the 4 NOPI Roughles collection, this one is a lavender color and it's called "I'm Stucco On You". I tell you no lie when I say I adore this entire collection, I thought I loved the Sinful Colors Crystal Crush textured ones but these get much love from me too!!

On my ring and pinky finger as the base color I am wearing a "no cool name" purple polish by Simply Sweet and as for the glitter layover I'm wearing a beaded nail polish I got from Urban Outfitters. The beaded polish is not anything special, it reminds of floam. It's pretty nonetheless and also reminds me of tinier sprinkles. Textured & glittered on you me nails is thee complete nail necessity!!

Have a fab day you all :).

Blueberry Heated Fizz

Hi all.... Happy hump day to you. I must tell you all that I am feeling so much better today. Got me some Mucinex on the way home yesterday as I planned on having a good nights sleep (that I did). I slept all the way till about 5:15. So glad not to have been coughing every 2 minutes, I believe I was experiencing a post nasal drip episode.

So a new day we have here and I have two new untried polishes on my nails today. The glitter creme polish on my index and middle finger is Island Girl polish called "Island Heat". My friend from Vegas was in the store telling me about the polishes that she wanted to bring me and she was just like you're gonna like this one. Come to find out I have 2 others like it by Island Girl. I adore the color combo and it does resemble an Easter color. I applied 3 coats of it no top coat.

On my ring & pinky finger I have another one of Rimmel's Sweetie Crush polishes and this one is called Bluberry Fizz. Very easy apply formula like the other two I've posted from the collection. I love the shimmer from this texture.

Do any of you own either of these polishes? If so, how do you like it?

Hello Kitty Peelable Nail Polish

Hi everyone!! Wo is me, I thought I hit publish on this post, but I didn't. I have had the unpleasant occurence of having this coughing/hacking session at night, it is beyond annoying. I got a few suggestions on facebook from people and I am going to try it, I am so in need of a good night's sleep.

On my nails I've done a quick review of a polish I got for my cute little niece who's almost 4! I saw these polishes just browsing in Walmart and they're peelable for $2.97. Now at first when you put it on, it'll look like the advertised color, but it dries pretty quickly into the color that you see now. It doesn't have smell to it like regular nail polish, it smells like Elmer's glue to me. So I have on 3 coats of it which I let completely dry. It is fantastic for my niece whom i've painted her nails before and she likes to pick it off.

Once completely dry it peels off with no force or much effort. I just wish the colors stayed the advertised colors. Other than that, it's pretty sweet for the little polishettes lol.

There is another character Minnie Mouse you can buy also.

Surfer Babe XO

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to all a yas :) I had a pretty restful weekend, i managed to get both legs over this cold hump that came over me last week. I'm back to work and back to life, back to reality (sing the rest y'all)....

Today I have two untried polishes from my stash. The first polish is a aqua polish by Island Girl. My homegirl that moved to Vegas last year was kind enough to go on a mission and find the nearest store that carries this brand. If you're not lucky enough to have a store near you, you can also check out www.abcstores.com for Island Girl polishes. This one is called Surfer Babe and I've applied 2 coats with no top coat. The formula is very user friendly and does not possess any streaks.

The second polish is a glitter polish I got from Charlotte Russe polish line Love, Charlotte XO(another brand that has cute polishes but no cute names--get with the program already). This glitter fun party is a mix of hot pink octagon and small circle glitters with white tinsel glitters. It's a very easy apply and the brush picks up the glitters plentiful!!

Have a look at my current mani and you all don't forget to enter my current giveaway in the post below this one. Last but never the least, have yourself a great week.

Awesome Fizzy Applelicious

Good morning folks.... my week has been so bleh, I've been fighting off a cold I am 100% sure I caught from my niece or nephew last weekend. I think i'm doing well in stopping it from getting worse, it goes to show that just because you take vitamins; it doesn't mean you won't get sick. I was determined not to wallow in bed (well maybe this weekend I will).

Today on my nails I am wearing another polish from the Rimmel London "Sweetie Crush" line, it is another collection of spring colored textured polishes. Today I am wearing a green apple colored polish called "Fizzy Applelicious". The formula for these polishes apply really well, it's not a thin or thick formula and is opaque in two coats.

On my accent nail I am wearing a glitter polish from NOPI called "Be awesome", they are iridescent diamond shaped glitters; the brush actually picks up a lot of the glitters easily.

Enjoy your day people.....
